Nicole Arbusto (Casting Director)

Twelve years with the Ojai Playwrights Conference working on new work from Stephen Adly Guirgis, Terrence McNally, Jiehae Park, JC Lee, Robert Askins, etc. Regional productions include LA casting for Linda Vista by Tracy Letts (Steppenwolf Theatre). Film includes: “The Lovers,” from A24 starring Debra Winger & Tracy Letts. TV includes: “Room 104,” and “Animals,” both from Duplass Productions and airing on HBO.
Kathleen Barrett (Assistant Stage Manager)
is happy to be working on her first Pasadena Playhouse show. Recent credits include: The Crucible, Pass Over, The Fundamentals, Constellations, East of Eden, The Herd, Airline Highway (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); A Doll’s House Part 2, Flora & Ulysses, Office Hour (South Coast Repertory); Cinderella at the Theater of Potatoes (The Hypocrites); Hand to God (Victory Gardens Theater); Far from Heaven (Porchlight Music Theatre); and Gotta Dance (Broadway in Chicago). She has also stage managed several of South Coast Repertory’s youth conservatory summer musicals. Kat holds a BA from Kalamazoo College in Michigan.
Mike Bartlett (Playwright)
is currently Associate Playwright at Paines Plough. In 2011 he was Writer in Residence at The National Theatre and in 2007 he was Pearson Playwright in Residence at the Royal Court Theatre. His play Love, Love, Love won Best New Play in 2011 Theatre Awards UK and his play Cock won an Olivier Award in 2010 for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre; he won the Writer’s Guild Tinniswood and Imison prizes for Not Talking and the Old Vic New Voices Award for Artefacts. Theatre credits include: Love, Love, Love, 13 (National Theatre), Decade (co-writer) Earthquakes in London, Cock, Contractions, Artefacts and My Child. Radio credits include: The Core, Heart, Liam, The Steps, Love Contract, Not Talking and The Family Man all on BBC. Screen credits include “Earthquakes in London” and “Hometown.” Directing credits include Honest by DC Moore. He is currently under commission from Headlong Theatre. Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse, Hampstead Theatre, and The Royal Court Theatre.
Peter Bayne (Original Music & Sound Design)
is thrilled to make his Pasadena Playhouse debut with King Charles III. Other credits include Center Theatre Group, South Coast Repertory, Antaeus Theatre Company, A Noise Within, Boston Court, The Fountain Theatre, Rubicon Theatre Company, The Colony Theatre, The Actors’ Gang, Rogue Machine Theatre, and Skylight Theatre Company. Other regional credits include American Repertory Theater, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, and Shakespeare & Company. Bayne is highly active composer in film and television. Jeffrey Bernstein (Choral Director)
is artistic director of the Pasadena Master Chorale and the Los Angeles Daiku and Artist in Residence with the LA Choral Lab. He has directed choirs on four continents and in August he conducted an all-Beethoven program with over 300 performers in the Walt Disney Concert Hall. He is the songwriter on “Luna Around The World,” a forthcoming animated series on PBS, and an active composer. Previously, Bernstein was director of choral music at Occidental College, assistant conductor of the Pasadena Symphony and associate musical director for the national tour of Cats. Elizabeth Harper (Lighting Designer)

Industrial Lighting Projects: Microsoft, Asics, Under Armour and Universal Studios. Elizabeth is a guest lighting design instructor and lecturer at CalArts and the University of Southern California as well as a seven-time Ovation Award nominee and occasional winner.
Alex Jaeger (Costume Designer)
designs costumes for theatres across the country including: The Public Theater, The Guthrie, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Mark Taper Forum, Kirk Douglas Theater, A.C.T. in San Francisco, South Coast Repertory, Geffen Playhouse, The Theatre @ Boston Court, The Studio D.C., Magic Theatre San Francisco, Pioneer Theatre in Salt Lake City, The Children’s Theater in Minneapolis and Great Lakes Theater Festival in Cleveland. Alex has received many awards including two Ovation Awards, four Backstage Garlands and two Drama-logue awards. He has a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and an MFA in costume design from UCLA. David Meyer (Scenic Designer)

April Metcalf (Wig Designer)
is excited to be returning to design another production at Pasadena Playhouse. She last designed wigs/makeup here on Twist: An American Musical and holds this theater near to her heart. Her other regional theater credits include: Stage Kiss, Wait Until Dark, Citizen Twain any many others.
Michael Michetti (Director)
is happy to return to the Playhouse, having previously directed Mamet’s A Life in the Theatre starring Hal Holbrook. Co-Artistic Director of The Theatre @ Boston Court in Pasadena: Stupid F**king Bird, Paradise Lost: Shadows & Wings, his own adaptation of A Picture of Dorian Gray, and The Twentieth-Century Way (also Off-Broadway at Rattlestick Playwright’s Theatre). Elsewhere: the world premiere of Robert Schenkkan’s Building the Wall (Fountain Theatre), District Merchants (South Coast Rep), Mrs. Warren’s Profession, Figaro, and The Grapes of Wrath (A Noise Within), Kiss Me Kate, Carousel, and Man of La Mancha (Reprise).
Pasadena Master Chorale (Choir)
Founded in 2008 by director Jeffrey Bernstein, Pasadena Master Chorale is a vital and innovative part of Pasadena’s cultural landscape. An auditioned volunteer choir, PMC is dedicated to fostering a love of the choral art through performance and education. Recent highlights: Handel’s Messiah, Faure’s Requiem, Brahms’ Unbound. Annually, through its “Listening To The Future” program, PMC presents a concert of music by local high school composers. In 2017 PMC was awarded second place in the American Prize competition. Bree Sherry (Production Stage Manager)
was last seen at Pasadena Playhouse for Kiss Me Kate. Southern California: Destiny of Desire, A Doll’s House Part 2 and Curve of Departure (South Coast Repertory); These Paper Bullets! (The Geffen Playhouse); Princess & Pirates (Kirk Douglas); and A Snow White Christmas (San Diego Repertory). Other Regional Credits include: Florida Repertory Theatre, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, The Washington Ballet, Studio Theatre, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Triad Stage, Yale Repertory Theatre, and The Reduced Shakespeare Company. She earned her MFA in Stage Management from Yale University, School of Drama.
