Following the great success of Into the Woods, the first PUSD All-Star Musical in 2023, the PUSD Arts & Enrichment Office in association with Pasadena Playhouse is back for the second iteration! Pasadena Unified will present another full-scale production of a major Broadway musical, Hadestown: Teen Edition. Once again, students will be on stage in all the leading and supporting roles, in the chorus and orchestra, behind the scenes as the stage crew, and designing and building the sets, props, and costumes. This unique production will feature the visual and performing arts contributions of over 100 PUSD students, and will be enjoyed by approximately 8500 student and community audience members.
A total of four performances for PUSD students and the public will take place at the Gladiss Edwards Auditorium at Pasadena High School. Set, costume and prop design will be developed at the Muir Mustang Design Lab. Set construction and all rehearsals will be at Pasadena High School.
